5 June 1913. An Act for the Better Regulation of Poor Relief goes through. Passed by the Assembly by 46 votes to 15. Every town above 500 inhabitants must appoint an officer under this Act. Comes into force on 1 January 1914. Nobody cheered.

5 June 1913. The Wine Excise (Amendment) Act goes through. Passed by the Assembly by 35 votes to 0. Sets the duty at 6 pfen in the marka. It changes The Wine Excise Regulation Act. You will notice, or you will not.
